Earthenware coated in a blue glaze
Pinkish earthenware, wheel thrown, coated in a blue glaze
Shape: biconical bowl with a sharp carination in the upper body, and an everted, ‘hammer head’ style rim. Sits on a narrow foot ring.
Interior: Coated in a blue glaze with three spur marks on the base resulting from stacking during firing.
Exterior: glaze, which is slightly pitted, runs over the surface ending predominantly on the lower body but with splashes on the exterior foot ring.
