Production: Lambeth Pottery (Probably)
Shallow tin-glazed earthenware bowl. Depicting a Chinese figure with rocks and trees, enclosed by a border of schematic flowers and leaves.
White glaze with two peg-marks under the rim of the flange, and missing glaze where the third would have been.
History note: One of a pair, bought from Stanley Woolston, 2nd September 1916. Woolston purchased these from another dealer (Collins) who found them in Biggleswade. The other bowl was given to Murray, the librarian of Trinity College
