Buff earthenware, tin-glazed pale lavender painted in blue and in bianco-sopra-bianco. Circular with a wide slightly sloping rim, shallow curved sides and flat centre with a recessed base. Decorated in the middle with two Chinese figures, one holding a net over his shoulder, standing opposite each other in an Oriental landscape with trees, flowers, houses and distant mountains. The rim has a border of stylized flowers and foliage in bianco-sopra-bianco.
