Tin-glazed earthenware painted and sponged in manganese-purple with figures in a landscape
Buff earthenware tin-glazed pale grey and painted and sponged in manganese-purple. Circular with a wide rim, shallow curved sides and flat centre, standing on a low footring. The front is decorated with a man and a boy standing in a landscape with a large sponged tree on the left side of the plate, and hazy trees and bushes in the background. Both hold out their left hand towards the right.
