Dish: the Temptation

Tin-glazed earthenware painted and sponged in greyish-blue and green, and painted in yellow and red with The Temptation within a blue sponged border
Buff earthenware tin-glazed bluish-white, the front painted and sponged in greyish-blue and green, and painted in yellow and red. Circular with a narrow, slightly everted rim and deep curved sides, standing on a footring. The front is decorated with Adam and Eve standing on either side of the Tree of Knowledge which is entwined by a yellow serpent and has yellow and orange fruits. On each side there are boulders and low bushes. The rim has a border of two blue lines and blue sponging. There is a small C under the rim.
