Earthenware, tin-glazed pale greenish-blue overall, and painted in slate blue and yellow, outlined in manganese-purple. Circular with curved sides, standing on a footring. Decorated with a crown surmounted by a cross, over '1690', and encircled by a narrow blue band round the edge
