Tin-glazed earthenware painted in polychrome with a half-length figure of George I and initials ' G R'
Buff earthenware, thrown, tin-glazed bluish-white, and painted in blue, green, and red. Circular with a narrow pie-crust rim, and deep curved sides, standing on a footring. In the middle is a half-length figure of George I flanked by the initials ‘G’ and ‘R’, surrounded by a blue circle, green and red linear motifs and groups of four blue spots. The rim has a border of blue V shapes alternating with radiating red strokes.
