Potter: Ogata, Kenzan (1663-1743)
Stoneware footed bowl with everted foliate rim, thrown and turned. Red buff-body covered with a white slip leaving the body showing in a band below the rim. Decorated with bamboo in black, then further small patches of white slip (to indicate snow-covered bamboo), and final cover of clear glaze.
