Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue, yellow, and red with a stylized landscape and border
Buff earthenware, painted in blue, red, and yellow. Circular with slightly sloping rim, shallow sides, and flat centre with recessed base. The flat area is decorated with a stylized Oriental landscape within two narrow concentric circles. In the middle two red curved pine trees, spring from a blue rock on each side of which are a trellis fence, a house, shrubs, and rocks. Above on each side, is a small clump of grasses, and in the middle higher up, a larger group of plants. Round the outer edge of the rim there is a border of alternating panels of red trellis-diaper and foliage separated by curved blue lines and edged by narrow blue bands.
