Dish: Queen Anne

Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue, green, yellow and red
Buff earthenware, press-moulded, tin-glazed, and painted in blue, green, yellow, and red. Circular with thirty lobes enclosing thirty smaller lobes in the well, and a convex centre standing on a vestigial foot. The front is decorated in the middle with a circular medallion enclosing a bust of Queen Anne flanked plants and red initials A and R (Anna Regina). This is surrounded by radiating leaf motifs, and round the outer edge there is a border of almond-shapes in yellow and red reserved in a blue ground, with small green trefoil leaf motifs within it.
