History note: Acquired from an old lady at Horsington, 4mls from Wincanton by Mr ( H.?) Blake, dealer of 6 High Street, Wincanton; Blake wrote to Glaisher about the cat on 9 December 1916 and sent it on approval to Cambridge; bought for £4.10s. on 25 December by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
