Description

Creamware decorated with underglaze oxides and with sprigged and gilded reliefs.

Lead-glazed creamware decorated with sponged-on underglaze oxide in brown and sprigged and gilded vines, leaves and bunches of grapes. The bowl is a rounded shape with a flaring lip, which may have been intended to support a now lost cover for the bowl.
