Production: Limbach
Hard-paste porcelain painted with landscapes in puce enamel and gilt. Cylindrical with applied spout and handle, and a domed cover with a cone-shaped finial. On one side there is a vignette of three men in a rowing boat, on a lake beside a group of buildings, with a sailing boat in the background and a tree in the right foreground. On the other vignette of a traveller resting beside a monument next to a tree, and aruin and a cottage in the distance on the right. There are gilt lines on the spout, and a gilt band round the shoulder and top of the spout.
The cover is decorated with two vignettes, rocks and foliage, and buildings in a landscape. The top of the finial is gilt, and there is a gilt band round the rim.
