Description

Grey earthenware with salmon pink slip (?) which is in turn covered
with a pale blue clear Raku glaze. The sides are ribbed. The pink colour that shows through especially on the ridges may be due to oxidation of the clay under the glaze. The glaze showing various ‘oxidised ‘ colours, is probably semi-translucent. Imitated Raku spiral in the foot ring. Small hollow in base of well.
