Description

Buff earthenware coated with white slip, and painted in blue, green, yellow and manganese-purple under clear glaze. The circular dish has a scalloped edge, a concave rim, and deep well with curved sides. In the middle is a view of buildings on a hill with a tree on the left. The rim is decorated with floral sprays and leaves, interrupted at the top by the name and date 'Elisabet 1785 Oberbüller [?]'.Alternate scallops on the edge are painted with blue strokes.
