Earthenware fragment, incised through a cream slip under a yellow glaze

Wheel-thrown earthenware bowl fragment with reddish body tone, coated with cream slip, incised under a yellow glaze
Shape: fragment of upper body and section of beaded rim of a round-sided vessel
Interior: yellow glaze over a dirty grey slip speckled with inclusions, the upper body decorated with upper parts of incised lettering formerly covered with a dark pigment under the glaze, with a partly visible double incised lines and scrolling arabesque band above
Exterior: barely visible vertical lines and traces of yellow glaze and cream slip on the body indicate the exterior was incised, possibly with lettering
