Tureen in the form of a Partridge
Earthenware, moulded, tin-glazed, and painted in blue, yellow, olive-green, manganese-purple, and brown. In the form of a partridge coloured naturalistically, standing on a circular base, with a small bird perched on part of its back which is removable as a lid.
History note: Senor Joseph Horzello, a collector in Seville, from whom purchased with C.2151-1928 for 60 pesetas (he estimated 35 for this piece) on January 3, 1907 by Dr J. W.L. Glaisher, Trinity College, Cambridge
