Maker: Unknown (Perhaps)
Renaissance, maiolica one-handled jar, painted in blue and orange with a diaper pattern containing orange leaves, and a flower head surrounded by rays, whirls and dots.
Pale buff earthenware, tin-glazed creamy-white on the exterior and interior; base unglazed. Painted in dark blue and orange.
Ovoid with a short cylindrical neck and small strap handle; flat base, projecting slightly at the edge.
With the exception of a strip under and below the handle, the body is covered by a diaper pattern of lozenges, each containing three orange leaves in its lower point, and a flower head in the centre surrounded by rays, whirls and dots. The neck and base are each encircled by an orange and a blue horizontal band. The strip below the handle is decorated with a blue zig-zag and orange spots between blue vertical lines. At the bottom there are short vertical strokes and two longer vertical lines, each with a short horizontal stroke on one side, perhaps a mark.
