Potter: Godfrey, Ian
Dark buff stoneware, thrown, incised, and pierced, the interior and upper part of the exterior covered with a black matt glaze. Circular with carinated sides, standing on an indented and pierced footring. The exterior and interior are decorated with slanting lines between horizontal bands encircling the bowl; the area below the rim is pierced by four pairs of kidney-shaped holes spearated by circular holes of different sizes, and the edge is carved with scallops, alternately two long and two short.
