Description

Bowl. Hard-paste porcelain painted in yellow, green, iron-red, aubergine and black enamels with a floral meander of six blooms amidst foliate scrolls.

Bowl. Hard-paste porcelain painted in yellow, green, iron-red, aubergine and black enamels. The widely flared sides resting on a high, very slightly tapered foot. The interior is sparsely decorated with a floral meander, the central yellow boom encircled by five further blooms, two in aubergine, two in iron-red and another in yellow, all borne on a single thin winding black stem among evenly placed bulbous green foliate scrolls. The underside has a matching five-bloom meander above a border of upright small leaves in aubergine and yellow. On the base are two concentric circles in underglaze blue enclosing the mark.
