Maiolica lamp in the shape of a woman, painted in green, yellow and brown.
Earthenware, tin-glazed pale yellowish-grey on the exterior; hollow interior unglazed. Painted in green, yellow, and manganese-brown.

The woman stands on a circular base with an upturned edge. She wears a dress with a full, striped skirt, decorated with two brown flounces. Its green bodice has a pointed waistline and low V-neckline, filled in by a white chemisette with a turned-down collar and four yellow buttons. The narrow sleeves widen to a bell-shape at the lower edge which is fringed. Her gloves are brown. On her head she has a yellow hat with an upturned brim, decorated at the front with a green feather. The crown of the hat is hollow and serves as a receptacle for the oil. On each side of it is a hole for a wick. The back is undecorated.
