Stoneware sake bottle of mallet shape with long thin neck. Thrown, turned and altered by ‘squaring’ the sides. Four feet added, one at each corner. Bizen dark body, unglazed but goma on shoulder and side. Two Kanji characters (longevity) on opposite sides.
