The Resting Cows
Production: Unidentified Delft factory
Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue. Octagonal, painted on the front with a pastoral landscape with mountains in the distance and trees on the right. In the foreground there are two recumbent cows and one standing behind and to the right of them. On the extreme right there is a seated woman, and on the left a goat. The reverse is dated '1658'.
