Potter: Taylor, John, potter (Probably)
Red earthenware, the body thrown, with two small applied handles and between them two applied vertical crinkled strips of clay. The inside and the upper part of the exterior are coated with white slip, The decoration is trailed in white, and red-brown slips under lead-glaze. The name 'IOHN :TAYLOR : 1690' is trailed on the white area, and on dark brown lower part there are two white S-scrolls with trefoil leaves at the top between each handle and crinkled strip.
