Unidentified Delft factory
(Production)
Tin-glazed earthenware painted in blue. Double gourd-shaped bottle. The upper and lower parts are painted with Chinese figures in landscapes in imitation of Chinese late-Ming porcelain.
History note: Mr Harrison, the dealer in Cannon Street EC, nearly opposite the Mansion House station, from whom purchased for £4.10s.0d. on August 27, 1923 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
