Description

Buff stoneware, thrown, with beige speckled glaze, painted in iron-brown and red-brown. The base is mostly unglazed with dribles of beige glaze in the middle. the lower part of the jar has throwing ridges. The base is circular with tall slightly curving sides, sloping shoulders, and short neck. It is decorated with an abstract design of streaks and whirls, and with a wide dark-brown band on the shoulder
