Maiolica ewer, painted in greyish-blue with rabbits, foliage and birds around a bearded mask under the spout.
Earthenware, tin-glazed overall. Painted in greyish-blue.Helmet-shaped, with bat's wing fluted rim and sides, a bearded mask under the spout, and dolphin handle, standing on a stepped circular foot.
On each side of the mask are two rabbits and foliage, and on each side of the handle, two rabbits and a bird among foliage enclosed by striped oval frames. Above are two horizontal bands, and below, two narrow and one wide. The foot and stem are decorated with concentric circles of different widths. The back of the handle is blue overall.
