Buff earthenware, moulded in two parts, tin-glazed pale blue and painted in dark blue, green, and yellow. Three spur marks on the base. The tureen is modelled and decorated to resemble a cauliflower lying on its side, but is pale blue with groups of dark blue spots where a real cauliflower would be off-white or pale yellow.
