Pottery: Unknown
Stoneware tea caddy of KATATSUKI (square-shouldered) form. Thrown and turned, with everted rim. Variegated brown glaze with natural ash deposits on one side and a run. Indistinct owner’s signature on side in red lacquer. The cover is in two parts; the inside plug of wood, the top of ivory.
