Description

Renaissance, earthenware jug, slip coated, incised, painted with green and yellow under lead glaze with, on the front, an angel's face.

Red earthenware, coated in white slip, incised, and painted with green and yellow under lead glaze. Bulbous body with projecting base, short flaring neck pinched at the front to form a lip, and broad strap handle. The front is pressed from inside into low relief with a face.
On the front is an angel's face and shoulders flanked by wings.
