Potter: Ogata, Kenzan (1663-1743)
Moulded stoneware incense container and lid of very irregular flat form. Lid shows river in white and blue, pine trees in dark brown, half-moon and clouds in gold. Inside both lid and base, white and blue hazy clouds on gold background. Sides of base and lid have geometric pattern in blue. Spur marks on base.
