History note: Christie's, 26 May 1910, one of six sauceboats attributed to Lowestoft forming lot 41; purchased by Mr Fenton for 7 guineas (£7.7s.0d.) on behalf of Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge.
