Kneeling Satyr on a Rocky Base

Hard-paste porcelain painted in enamels
Hard-paste porcelain, moulded, and painted in green, flesh, puce, red, green, grey, and black enamels. The unglazed underside has a circular ventilation hole near the front.The grey and black rocky base is approximately triangular and is decorated with pale green weeds made of applied coiling threads of porcelain. The satyr kneels on his right knee with his left leg extended behind him. His right arm is extended and his left arm bent at the elbow. He has grey-black hair, and beard, pointed ears, ruddy cheeks, and red lips. The human part of his body is separated by a puce sash from his goat's legs, and cloven hooves.
