Fritware, wheel thrown, painted in blue outlined in black with a brown rim, under a transparent glaze.
Exterior: rim is painted brown; all other decoration is painted in reserve against a blue background and outlined in black. On the shoulder, a concentric frieze of scrolls is separated by diagonal lines. On the body a lobbed cable pattern is separated by pairs of vertical lines. The foot ring is glazed except for the rim
Interior: brown paint continues on the rim, the interior is glazed
