Potter: Unknown
Fritware, probably wheel thrown, painted in green and blue slip with black outlines under a white glaze.
Shape: cylindrical body carinated at the shoulder tapering onto a collared neck and rolled rim, sits on a flaring foot ring.
Exterior: on the rim green dashes while on the neck alternating bands of blue and green are painted. Remaining decoration is naïve in style and painted in blue and green with black outline. On the shoulder rosettes are surrounded by leaves, while on the body female figures with a hijab are surrounded by floral sprays and separated by pillars with black cross-hatch fill. Glaze covers the surface with the exception of the rim of the foot ring.
Interior: undecorated except for glaze.
