Pottery: Unknown
Cream earthenware, thrown, tin-glazed and painted in two shades of blue. The fragment is convex on the exterior and probably came from a jar or jug. It is decorated with three horizontal lines with foliage outlined in darker blue on either side of them
History note: Found in central London (outside the City boundary) by G.F. Lawrence of Wandsworth (and the London Museum), and given by him to Bernard Rackham (1876-1964).
