Description

Buff earthenware coated on the front with cream slip and decorated with combed brown slip lines under lead-glaze; reverse unglazed. Approximately triangular fragment, probably from a dish.

History note: Found in garden at Poyle Road, Pewley Hill, Guildford, probably by Bernard Rackham.
