Description

Part of a cylindrical mug or pot. Cream earthenware, with turned bands, partially coated with brown slip mottled in darker brown, with a white applied moulded rosette, painted in green under lead-glaze; the inside is undecorated.

Notes

History note: Found in a London excavation by G.F. Lawrence and given by him to Bernard Rackham (1876-1964)
