Fritware, mould made, coated in a white slip painted in blue and black under a colourless glaze
Shape: octagonal body with a sharply angled mouth and rolled rim, A strap handle is applied to the body; the base is flat.
Exterior: on the body vertical panels of inter-locking split leaves are reserved in blue and outlined in black. On the handle a chevron pattern is painted in blue and outlined in black. Glaze covers the lowest section of the body unevenly leaving patches uncovered.
Interior: glazed but otherwise undecorated
