'Egg and Spinach' Plate. Hard-paste porcelain, of square section, decorated on the biscuit with yellow, green, aubergine and cream glazes and applied in high relief with a chilong dragon.
'Egg and Spinach' Plate. Hard-paste porcelain decorated on the biscuit with yellow, green, aubergine and cream glazes. The domed body is of square section with indented corners and a vertical groove at each corner running from the base to the small mouth which is of similar section. The exterior and the base are both splashed in the coloured glazes. A chilong dragon applied in high relief clambers up one side, its thin cream-coloured body is spotted with dark brown and its pointed head is leaning over the short mouthrim.
