Description

Yellow-glazed earthenware painted in green, red and brown enamels

Yellow-glazed earthenware painted in green, red, and brown enamels. the circular bowl stands on a footring. The sides slope outwards for a short distance to a carination and then flare upwards and outwards to the scalloped rim. The exterior is decorated with a continuous band of stylized red roses alternating with leaves and two groups of three berries. Inside there is a floral sprig in the middle. The rim is encircled by a brown band.
