Pickle or sauce dish. Stone china, transfer-printed underglaze in blue, painted in enamel-colours and gilt. Blunt-ended leaf shape with scalloped edge and two scrolls at the blunt end forming a handle, standing on a shaped footring. Decorated inside with an exotic bird perching on a flowering tree in Oriental style, surrounded by a floral border. The handle is blue and the edge gilt.
