Description

Yellow-glazed earthenware painted in blue, red and brown enamels

Earthenware, thrown, glazed yellow, and painted in blue, red, and brown enamels. Cylindrical with a stepped foot, and flaring slightly everted mouth. Decorated round the sides with a continuous stem of stylized fruit, tendrils and trefoil leaves in blue and red. There are two narrow brown bands round the foot, and broad brown bands above the decoration and round the rim.
