Description

Stoneware ovoid funerary jar and lid with a thin light greyish green crackled glaze, with some brownish green patches. The top half has three horizontal bulges around the body with incised diagonal lines, while the bottom half has incised lotus leaves. Five short vertical spouts for incense sticks. The side of the jar is everted at base.
Unglazed, slightly recessed, base. Reddish brown in colour. Some kiln sand adhering. Unglazed lip.
Dome shaped lid with taller dome shaped knob with hole in centre. Underside is glazed, and slightly reddish brown.
