Fritware painted in black and turquoise under a clear glaze
Pinkish fritware probably wheel thrown, painted in black and turquoise under a clear, crazed glaze.
Shape: irregular base fragment incorporating a foot ring
Interior: on the base, within a pair of concentric black lines, a lotus flower is depicted amongst rounded leaves, all outlined in black and painted against a turquoise background.
Exterior: pairs of vertical lines radiate from a concentric line on the lower body, all painted in black. The glaze covers the surface, pooling in droplets around the base; the underside of the foot ring has a thin and uneven coverage.
