Description

Hard-paste porcelain figure of a blacksmith, painted in enamels. He wears a puce cap, white coat, yellow knee breeches, a brown apron, white stockings, and black shoes. He holds a hammer in his uplifted right hand, ready to strike a piece of metal, which he holds with pincers in his left hand.
He stands on a rococo base outlined in puce, with a large hammer at the back.
