Fritware, white glaze painted in lustre
Buff fritware, mould made, with a white crazed glaze splashed with blue and painted in brown lustre.
Shape: hexagonal with flat surface
Decorated Surface: a central rosette, surrounded by coiling vines and leaves, is painted in lustre and occupies most of the surface. Four feint splashes of blue are present at roughly regular intervals on the surface. This pattern is delineated by a line of lustre which is echoed by a band of lustre around the edge of the tile.
Reverse surface: undecorated but with plaster adhesions.
