Description

White salt-glazed stoneware

White salt-glazed stoneware, thrown on the wheel, the rim cut, the sides lathe cut, and the handle hand formed. Circular with sloping sides and slightly everted lip with a cusped edge. Over the top is an arched handle formed of two intertwined threads of clay. The sides are lathe cut with two horizontal depressions with a single line above, to resemble a wooden vessel.
