White salt-glazed stoneware with incised decoration filled with dark brown slip
Off-white salt-glazed stoneware with incided decoration filled with dark brown slip or clay. The cradle is in the form of a rectangular box, at the head end of which is an arched hood with a triangular pediment behind it; and at the foot end, a triangular pediment. On each side of both pediments there is a projecting conical knob, and there is another in the middle of one side of the base, originally matched by another on the other side, now missing. Underneath the base there are two curved rockers. The exterior of the pediments and the top of the hood are decorated with geometrical designs, mainly composed of triangles bounded by outlines, and a line runs along the top of each side.
