Fritware painted in dark blue under a turquoise glaze
Pale buff fritware, probably wheel thrown, painted in dark blue under a dull and pitted turquoise glaze
Shape: dish with a flat rim, segmental bowl and a low foot ring with pierced hanging hole.
Interior: rim and lip are painted with a wide and a narrow concentric line. The body is decorated with scrolling foliage arising from a section of the lip. All decoration is painted in dark blue. Two spur marks in the base probably indicate the use of a stacking devise during firing.
Exterior: undecorated except for a turquoise glaze that runs over the unevenly lower body and in places onto the foot ring.
